Euroklimat RKO R290 Hydrocarbon Water Chillers for Comfort Cooling Applications

Euroklimat could justifiably claim to be the European leader in the development and manufacture of chillers using very-low GWP refrigerants. 

Using R290, with a GWP of 3, Euroklimat’s Natural Cooling range is suitable for a host of applications but are commonly used in distribution applications such as storage areas in supermarkets or warehouses. Euroklimat’s machines are able to guarantee an extremely high level of reliability and are suitable for temperatures down to approximately -8°C.

Euroklimat Natural cooling chillers are used in applications as varied as the Copenhagen Metro, in food production for Nestlé in France and for the John Lewis Partnership in the UK.

The Natural Cooling range includes Chillers and Heat Pumps up to 650kW capacity:

• Condensers are available with both axial and plug fans and can be treated a range of protective coatings making them suitable for the harshest environments. 

• Using ATEX compressors with Euroklimat’s Zero Leak design reduces the risk of refrigerant leaks to a minimum.

• The control panel has been designed with a specially constructed casing and the wiring developed to ensure the unit is fully protected in the event of a refrigerant leak.

• The performance of each unit complies with the European Directive 2009/125/EU, the Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/2281 and with the Harmonized Directives.
