New 'L' Remote Controller

The infrared remote controller for L units is to be superseded by a more compact, aesthetically pleasing direct replacement white handset.

Operation is similar to the current version with the on/off and set point adjustment buttons permanently visible, while the timer, fan and mode buttons are accessed via a small door in the casing. The new remote controller is fully compatible with all current L products

Replacement will be implemented as a running change. The actual change in the factory will be instant but with a gradual phase in for distributors.

All spares will now contain the white handset.

Please note, the part number, whether for a spare or an Airking kit is now 55500306.

MCU(+) / MHPUE / L Compressor changes

Due to phase out of ZR47 and ZR49 compressors by Copeland, units previously fitted with these compressors are now being shipped with either ZR40 or ZR48 compressors.
Spare compressors will also be ZR40 or ZR48 models: spares of these have been engineered with simple pipe assemblies to allow retrofitting to units originally fitted with the ZR47 and ZR49.
