Compressor Suffixes

Compressors supplied with polyolester oil now come with a suffix  C  on all sizes except  5524 ,  5527  and  5531  (single and 3 phase).

When replacing a compressor, ensure that the replacement has the same oil as the original one.

All R407C systems have compressors supplied with polyolester oil.  
540/541 series, R22 systems have mineral oil compressors.
550/551 series, R22 systems may have either mineral oil or polyolester oil, depending on date of manufacture.
