TB3139 - New IMAGE/Fan Motor
Image 70 to 160 units with serial numbers from 538/9707/000473 onwards (with the exception of 538/9708/000545-554 and 538/9710/000705-709) have been fitted with a new design fan and motor that allows easier access for maintenance.
CWC units with serial numbers from 967/9709/000595 onwards (with the exception of 967/9711/000738-742 and 748) will have the new fan and motor fitted.
SPARES
In future all Image/CWC fan/motor spares will be of the new design, consisting of either: -
Fan - 538 01 357S
Fan Motor - 041 00 156S
Fan/Motor Assembly - 538 00 934S
The fan/motor assembly is also a retrofit for units with the original components and will comprise; Fan, Capacitor, Motor, Mounting Plate, and Fan Cowl.
It is essential to ensure that when replacing fan/motor assemblies on dual fan Image 120 and 160 or CWC 125 and 185 models, the new motor and SISME motors are not used together. If a SISME motor fails on a dual fan unit, both fan/motor assemblies must be replaced.
Failure to comply with this instruction WILL result in failure of the SISME motor.
The new fan motor and OLMO motors are compatible and may be used on the same machine.
