Heronhill re-brand and launch new website!

7th June 2011

We are delighted to launch our 4th generation website after 18 months' intensive research and planning. We are constantly looking at ways to improve the service we provide and push the boundries even further to take advantage of the latest technologies available and our new website will reflect this..

Our new website, apart from being even easier to navigate, has links to social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, which will include news, technical and product bulletins on a regular basis.

The product section is much more comprehensive with high resolution pictures quickly accessed to give the user a clear sharp image of what they are looking for. To enhance the downloads section, YouTube videos are also available for some products as well as the facility for users to write their own review. We have also set up the facility for e-commerce to enable users of the site to buy on line, although to start with, this is limited to just a few popular products.

The launch of the new website coincides with a re-brand of our identity. Over the last 18 months, we have been closely looking at how Heronhill is perceived in the market, the way we present ourselves and the way in which we communicate. Our objective was to identify what we do well, what we could improve and what makes us different. Based on these findings, we implemented a strategy to further raise our profile and build on our strong customer service ethos and diverse product range. The creation of our new brand reflects this and is just the start of what will be an exciting journey for Heronhill in building on our success by responding to the forever changing demands of our customers.

The re-branding will be implemented over the coming months and will coincide with the launch of new products and the strengthening of our position in the market.

Ashley Cobb joins the team!

We are delighted to announce that we have appointed Ashley as Regional Sales Manager for the South West. Ashley replaces John Baker who, after 7 years' loyal service has retired. Ashley did his apprenticeship with Gloucester contractor, Mitchells Refrigeration and also gained valuable experience working for Westward Refrigeration.  He went on to manage the Gloucester branch of RPW before managing the South West region for Thermofrost Cryo, with whom he worked for 15 years. Very well respected in the industry, there is no doubt that if you are based in the South West, you will be hearing from Ashley soon, if you haven't already!
