11th April 2011

imageTate St Ives have installed a Nordmann AT3000 electrode boiler humidifier to preserve its precious works of art. The 45 kg/hr machine was used to supply all 5 galleries in the prestigious building, through the existing air conditioning system. The Gallery occupies a spectacular site overlooking Porthmeor Beach, designed to show works of art in the surroundings in which they were created, alongside the best of Modern and Contemporary Art.

imageThe Nordmann humidifier is controlled by a BMS system and was installed by MacWhirter (Western) Ltd of Torquay and supplied by Heronhill, the Nordmann humidifier specialists. John Church, of MacWhirters, said that  the system is maintaining humidity very well throughout the whole complex and the Gallery is delighted with its performance.
